· Ben Wilkerson joined the Browns staff in 2025. He brings 10 years of NFL coaching experience following a four-year playing career.
· Served as the assistant offensive line coach with the Jets (2022-24), Giants (2018-21) and Bears (2015-17). His lines helped QB Aaron Rodgers total the third most passing yards (3,898) and touchdown passes (28) by a Jet in a single season in 2024. RB Saquon Barkley earned the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2018 after leading the NFL with 2,028 scrimmage yards and rushed for a Giants rookie-record 1,307 yards. RB Jordan Howard finished second in the NFL with 1,313 rushing yards in 2016, setting a Bears rookie record.
· Began his coaching career at his alma mater LSU as an offensive assistant in 2010.
· Spent two seasons at Grambling State (2012-13) as the offensive line coach and a year as an assistant football coach at North Shore (Texas) Senior High School in 2014.
· Participated in the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program for the Steelers in 2012, an opportunity each NFL team offers to minority coaches during offseason programs.
· Entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2015 and played in 32 career games over three seasons with Cincinnati and Atlanta before finishing his playing career in 2009 with the UFL's Florida Tuskers.
· Co-recipient of the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the top center in college football, as a senior, at LSU and helped the team win the BCS National Championship as a junior.
· Wilkerson and his wife, Angi, have four children: daughters Brianna, Isabella and Jordan, and a son, Benjamin II.
