Lynch first joined the Browns in 2020 as the assistant defensive backs coach before moving to cornerbacks coach in 2023. He is now the defensive backs coach/pass game specialist beginning in 2026. He is in his seventh year as an NFL coach. Lynch coaches a room that features CB Denzel Ward, who is a five-time Pro Bowl and has 104 career passes defensed – the most by any NFL player since 2018. Ward is also just one of five active players with at least 100 career passes defensed.
