Biography
- Named the Browns pass game coordinator in 2026 following three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
- Spent 2023-25 as an offensive assistant coach with the Ravens, working closely with the tight ends. During that span, the Ravens finished near the top in several key categories including rushing yards (first with 166.9 per game), yards per game (second with 375.6 per game) and points (third with 27.9 per game). In 2024, TE Mark Andrews led all NFL tight ends with 11 receiving touchdowns. In 2024, the Ravens finished with the No. 1 offense in the NFL for the first time in team history as the Ravens became the first team in NFL history with 4,000 yards through the air (4,035) and 3,000 yards on the ground (3,189) in a single season. The unit set a franchise record with 7,224 total yards of offense, the third most in NFL single-season history.
- Spent three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, first as an offensive assistant (2020-21) and as run game specialist (2022). In 2022, RB Tyler Allgier rushed for 1,035 yards, while Cordarrelle Patterson added eight rushing touchdowns.
- Spent time as a student assistant at Illinois in 2009, helping with quarterbacks and defensive backs. As a student assistant at Akron in 2010 and 2011, he assisted with the running backs and defensive backs. In 2012, Breyer served as a graduate assistant, where he primarily worked with the defensive backs. He spent the 2013 season as the assistant to head coach and assistant director of player personnel at Indiana.
- A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Breyer earned a bachelor's and a master's degree from Akron.
