· Duce Staley joined the Browns in 2024. Brings 26 years of experience as an NFL player (10) and coach (16), where he has won a Super Bowl as both a player and a coach.
· In 2024, RBs Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford tied for the team lead in rushing touchdowns. Ford, who led the team in rushing yards, had back-to-back games with a 60-plus yard rush.
· Under Staley's direction, RB Jamaal Williams led the NFL and set a Lions franchise record with 17 rushing touchdowns in 2022. Williams accounted for 1,066 of the Lions' 2,179 rushing yards that season, the team's highest total in 25 years.
· Entered the coaching ranks as a coaching intern with the Eagles in 2010 and was hired into a full-time role as a special teams quality control coach (2011). Earned multiple promotions throughout his 11 seasons on the Eagles staff (2010-20).
· During first season as running backs coach (2013), the Eagles' offense set franchise records for points, total net yards, touchdowns and passing yards.
· Helped the Eagles finish third in the league with 132.2 rushing yards per game as the team captured Super Bowl LII.
· As his running backs coach, helped RB LeSean McCoy earn first-team All-Pro honors in 2013 and five Pro Bowl selections (2013-17). In 2013, McCoy led the NFL in rushing yards (1,607) and scrimmage yards (2,146). McCoy was also named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
· Developed RB Miles Sanders in 2019, who led all rookies and set Eagles rookie records for rushing yards (818) and scrimmage yards (1,327).
· A third-round pick by Philadelphia in 1997, spent seven seasons with the Eagles (1997-2003) before finishing career with the Steelers (2004-06). Helped the Steelers win Super Bowl XL. Appeared in 114 career games and racked up 5,785 rushing yards on 1,430 carries with 24 rushing touchdowns, while adding 287 career receptions for 2,587 yards with 10 touchdowns. Eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing plateau three times in career. Became the second player in Eagles history to record 200-rushing yards in a single game.
· Rushed for 1,852 yards at South Carolina from 1995-96 and was elected to South Carolina's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
· Active in the community, particularly with the Special Olympics and the First Steps early childhood education program. Launched the Catch 22 foundation to assist single mothers. Participated in the 2003 NFL USO Tour to greet U.S. troops stationed in Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar.
· A native of Columbia, S.C., Staley has five children, Davin, Damani, Dania, King and Steele. Married to wife, Maria.
