Back to work: Browns players report for offseason workouts

It's back to work in Berea.

The Browns returned Monday morning for offseason workouts, where players will reunite with head coach Hue Jackson and a retooled coaching staff for the first time since January.

Since then, Cleveland tapped longtime coordinator Gregg Williams to head its defense and added new position coaches on both sides of the ball.

The Browns, of course, also added a handful of new faces to the roster in free agency. Most notably, they fortified their offensive line with the signings of right guard Kevin Zeitler, center JC Tretter and wide receiver Kenny Britt. Cleveland also made a splash by inking left guard Joel Bitonio to a five-year extension and re-signing Pro Bowl linebacker Jamie Collins to a four-year deal.

Cleveland, which finished 1-15 in 2016, is in the thick of a pivotal offseason with the first and 12th overall picks in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Draft is set for April 27-29 in Philadelphia.

Once offseason workouts are complete, the Browns will begin organized team activities (OTAs) starting May 19. Veteran mini-camp is set for June 12.
