Browns activate QB Robert Griffin III

Browns have activated Robert Griffin III from injured reserve designated for return. To make room on the roster, the team waived OL Matt McCants.

Griffin completed 12 of 26 passes for 190 yards and added 37 rushing yards in the season opener against the Eagles. He suffered a fractured coracoid bone in his left shoulder and was placed injured reserve on Sept. 12. He returned to practice on Nov. 23. Griffin will start this Sunday against Cincinnati.
