Leveston (6-4, 335) is entering his second NFL season out of Kansas State. Originally selected by the Rams in the seventh round of the 2024 draft, he missed his rookie season with an ankle injury. Leveston will wear No. 72.

The Browns officially announced their initial 53-man roster heading into the 2025 season. The 53-man showcases key veteran plays to anchor all three sides of the ball on offense, defense and special teams, with new additions to the team such as the six undrafted free agents officially making the initial 53-man roster.

Offensively, the Browns are rostering three quarterbacks in Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, with the two rookies serving as viable backup options behind Flacco as the starting quarterback. The Browns will continue to develop the two rookies in their offense under the wing of an 18-year veteran in Flacco.

Their quarterbacks have a number of pass-catching threats, as the Browns boast a receiving corps of six and a tight end room of four. Their receiving corps is led by Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman, and features new additions of Isaiah Bond, DeAndre Carter and Gage Larvadain. Second-year player Jamari Thrash, who has prepared himself for a strong second season, brings depth to the receiving room. David Njoku leads the tight ends, but the Browns kept depth at the position on the roster with Brenden Bates, rookie Harold Fannin Jr. and Blake Whiteheart – a group that not only adds pass-catching threats to the offense but also provides blocking protection.

The offensive line returns with their core veteran group in Joel Bitonio, Jack Conklin, Ethan Pocic and Wyatt Teller to anchor the unit. The depth stretches across the positions with veteran in Teven Jenkins and Cornelius Lucas, as well as young players like Dawand Jones who is stepping into a new role in 2025. Luke Wypler and Zak Zinter add more youth and depth to a veteran-based offensive line.

Defensively, the Browns' stout defensive line is built with a mix of veterans and young players, anchored by DE Myles Garrett. Isaiah McGuire and Alex Wright bring depth and experience to the unit in their time with the Browns and their increased roles, while

free agent additions in Maliek Collins and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka add depth and veteran presence to the defensive line. First-round draft pick Mason Graham and undrafted free agent Adin Huntington bring fresh faces to the unit poised to excel in the attack-style defensive front.

The linebacker room features a fairly new core of players, with the only two returners from the 2024 season in Devin Bush and Mohamoud Diabate. However, the unit consists of second-round draft pick Carson Schwesinger – who excelled during training camp and the preseason – a veteran addition in Jerome Baker and undrafted free agent in Easton Mascarenas-Arnold.

The defensive backs return six players from the 2024 season in Grant Delpit, Myles Harden, Ronnie Hickman, Cameron Mitchell, Greg Newsome and Denzel Ward. They revamped their safety room with the addition of Rayshawn Jenkins, Damontae Kazee and Donovan McMillon.

The Browns made a change at kicker, with Andre Szymt making the initial 53-man roster. Szmyt was signed during the offseason and competed in the kicking game during OTAs and minicamp, as well as training camp. During the preseason, Szmyt made all three of his field goal attempts – including a 37-yard game-winner against the Rams in the third week of the preseason – as well as one extra point attempt. P Corey Bojorquez and LS Rex Sunahara return from the 2024 season and round out the specialists. Bojorquez led the NFL in punts inside the 10-yard line during with 2024 season with 16 and finished third in punts inside the 20-yard line with 36 – which also set a franchise record with punts inside the 20. Bojorquez finished the season with a 49.3 punt average and a 41.8 net punting average, both figures that were the second-most by a Brown in a season.

The Browns can make additional roster moves in the coming days via waiver claims and free agent signings. They will also look to construct a 16-man practice squad, a group of players that play a vital role throughout the season and serve as an additional layer of depth in the event of injuries on the active roster.
