Browns claim P Justin Vogel

The Cleveland Browns have claimed P Justin Vogel via waivers from Green Bay. In addition, the team waived QB Joel Stave.

Vogel is 6-5, 220 pounds and entering his second NFL season out of the University of Miami. Originally signed by Green Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2017, Vogel appeared in all 16 games his rookie season. He booted 71 punts with 19 inside the 20-yard line and just two touchbacks. He set a Green Bay single-season franchise record with a 41.6 net average. He is a native of Tampa, Fla.

Stave signed with the Browns on April 30 and participated in the club's rookie minicamp.
