Browns claim TE Chase Ford

The Cleveland Browns claimed tight end Chase Ford via waivers from Baltimore.

Ford is 6-6, 245-pounds and entering his fourth NFL season out of the University of Miami. Originally signed by Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent in 2012, Ford has appeared in 20 career games with five starts with the Vikings. He has totaled 34 receptions for 391 yards with one touchdown. Last season, he was inactive for eight games with Minnesota and one game with Baltimore before being placed on injured reserve. A native of Corrigan, Texas, Ford graduated from Corrigan-Camden High School.
