Berea, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns will host its annual 'Month of Giving', presented by Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc., starting Dec. 1 and through the month of December, with the goal of giving back to the city of Cleveland and the greater region of Northeast Ohio during the holiday season through a variety of events as part of Browns Give Back.
"We're incredibly excited to announce the third annual Browns Give Back 'Month of Giving' event to support the city of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio," Cleveland Browns Vice President of Community Impact and Foundation Renee Harvey said. "Our 'Month of Giving' initiative is designed to extend meaningful support where it is needed, and also to honor and celebrate educators, military members, and other individuals who contribute so much to our community."
Each season, Browns players, alumni, coaches, staff members, partners and fans participate in the 'Month of Giving,' an organizational tradition that allows individuals to make impactful contributions to deserving individuals and organizations as part of the team's commitment to advancing education, youth football and equitable opportunities.
"Goodwill is proud to partner with the Cleveland Browns for their 'Month of Giving', a celebration of community, generosity, and opportunity," Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio President and CEO Anne Richards said. "At Goodwill, our mission is to help individuals overcome barriers to employment and build brighter futures. This partnership strengthens that mission by bringing our community together to create real, lasting impact. We're honored to stand with the Browns in supporting the people and neighborhoods that make Northeast Ohio such a remarkable place to live and work."
The Cleveland Browns Foundation will continue working with districts across Northeast Ohio to combat chronic absenteeism through its Stay in the Game! Attendance Network. Throughout the month, the Browns will host events to celebrate students and educators including classroom visits, field trip opportunities, the Stay in the Game! themed home game on December 7, and a Super Bowl surprise for a Stay in the Game! educator.
The 'Month of Giving' will include annual events such as G Joel Bitonio's 'Shop with a Pro', S Grant Delpit's Fourth Annual Toy Drive and 'Breakfast with Santa', and 'Deck the House' which supports Providence House and announces the Browns' 2025 Ed Block Courage Award Recipient. Additionally, the month will include special announcements such as the Browns' 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year, Jim Brown Changemaker Award nominees as well as the 2025 Cleveland Browns High School Coach of the Year Award recipient.
Throughout the month, there will be additional surprises, including special events that support high school tackle football, girls' high school flag, youth tackle, and other unique programming. These initiatives reflect the Browns' ongoing commitment to advancing youth and high school football through participation growth and equitable access.
