Browns release OL Paul McQuistan


The Browns on Friday terminated the contract of veteran offensive lineman Paul McQuistan, general manager Ray Farmer announced.

McQuistan, who signed with the Browns in March 2014, played in 14 games this past season. He started at right guard Oct. 19 in Cleveland's loss at Jacksonville.

McQuistan, 31, has appeared in 97 games with 53 starts during his eight-year NFL career.
