Jacob Phillips ruled out for season

Phillips left Friday’s preseason game against the Commanders with a torn pectoral

injury

Head coach Kevin Stefanski announced Saturday that LB Jacob Phillips will miss the 2023 season with a torn pectoral.

Phillips, a fourth-year veteran, departed Friday night's preseason loss to the Commanders with the injury.

Phillips has played 20 games with the Browns since he was drafted in the third round of the 2020 draft. He has 88 career tackles and three sacks.
