Joe Thomas named Pro Bowl captain

Browns left tackle Joe Thomas is one of eight captains for this year's Pro Bowl.

Thomas, who was named to the league's annual all-star game for the 10th straight season, joins Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, Ravens safety Eric Weddle and Broncos linebacker Von Miller as captains of the AFC team.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin, Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis and Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner are the NFC team captains.

The Pro Bowl is set for 8 p.m. on Sunday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
