The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will duke it out Sunday for Super Bowl XLIX.

These former coaches, players and executives have ties with the Cleveland Browns.

New England Patriots

Head coach Bill Belichick**– Head coach in Cleveland from 1991-95.


Tight ends coach Brian Daboll – Offensive coordinator in Cleveland from 2009-2010.


Special teams coach Scott O'Brien – Special teams coach in Cleveland from 1991-95.


Assistant to the coaching staff Michael Lombardi – General Manager and VP of Player Personnel in Cleveland from 2013-2014. Lombardi served in various front office capacities with the Browns from 1987-1996. 

Quarterback Brian Hoyer – Tom Brady's backup in New England from 2009-2011.

Offensive lineman Keavon Milton – Member of the Browns in 2013.


Offensive lineman Patrick Lewis – Member of the Browns in 2013.


Browns offensive lineman Michael Bowie – Was with the Seahawks in 2013.


Browns center Ryan Seymour – Drafted by the Seahawks in 2013.


Browns wide receiver Phil Bates – Played for the Seahawks in 2013.


Seattle quarterbacks coach Carl Smith – Served in the same capacity with the Browns from 2001-03, and 2009-2010.


Seattle Assistant Special Teams coach Nick Sorensen – Played safety for the Browns from 2007-2010


Seattle Vice President of Football Administration Matt Thomas – Was with the Browns in the same capacity from 2010-12.

Browns Vice President of Fan Experience Kevin Griffin – Was with the Seahawks from 2004-2013

Browns Director of Fan Experience Carlos Oseguera – Was with the Seahawks from 2007-2011

Browns Equipment Manager Brad Melland – Was with the Seahawks from 1998-2004
