Statement from NFL Spokesperson on Browns WR Jordan Payton

STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:

Jordan Payton of the Cleveland Browns has been suspended without pay for the team's next four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Payton's suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to return to the Browns' active roster on Monday, January 2 following the team's January 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
