Top 11 reasons to go to Cleveland Browns Fan Fest on Saturday

It's that time of year again.

Cleveland Browns Fan Fest is set for Saturday at FirstEnergy Stadium. It's a different site with a number of different activities than last year, but the same great time is expected for all of those who plan to attend.

Everything gets kicked off at 10 a.m. for season ticket holders and 11 a.m. for everyone else. Click here to pick up tickets before they run out.

Here are the 11 reasons why this year's Fan Fest is a must-attend event.

Autographs, autographs, autographs

A number of the Browns' top players, including Robert Griffin III and Joe Haden, will be in attendance and signing autographs for fans. Check out the Fan Fest web page and the Cleveland Browns mobile app for all the necessary details to know about the autograph sessions.

Hear from the legends

At 1:30 p.m., Browns legends Jim Brown, Paul DeLamielleure and Paul Warfield will come together for a "Gold Jacket Roundtable." The Pro Football Hall of Famers will swap stories and discuss how they went from rookies to All-Pros in this 30-minute session emceed by WEWS NewsChannel 5's Andy Baskin in the Lake Club.

Reminisce with the 1986 team

One hour earlier, five Browns alumni from the 1986 team will come together in a similar fashion inside the City Club. This roundtable will feature former Browns Kevin Mack, Hanford Dixon, Bob Golic and Felix Wright.

Hear from the men who spearheaded the Browns' efforts in the draft

Browns executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown and vice president of player personnel Andrew Berry, fresh off their first NFL Draft together in their respective positions, will discuss the state of the team from noon to 12:30 p.m. inside the Lake Club with Cleveland Browns Daily's Nathan Zegura.

See Joel Bitonio show off his passion for cooking

In various segments on Inside the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland third-year left guard Joel Bitonio has learned how some of the city's best chefs construct their signature dishes. At 2 p.m. inside the City Club, Bitonio will join celebrity chef Rocco Whalen to show off their favorite tailgate dishes. Golic and Dixon will also make appearances as celebrity bartenders.

Watch the rookies practice

Cleveland's 14 draft picks, 11 undrafted free agents and a number of tryout players will engage in their second of three practices in front of fans starting at 2:30 p.m. This will be the first opportunity to see Hue Jackson and his coaching staff work the field with the team's young core. Rookies are scheduled to sign autographs for fans for 15 minutes after practice.

Stock up on gear

Fans have multiple opportunities to fill their closet with new Browns merchandise. The Pro Shop will be open throughout the event and there will also be a locker room sale that includes autographed jerseys and helmets starting at $25. The Locker Room Sale is located in the Lake Club.

Grab a bite … or two or three

The lower concourse level concessions stands will be open and serving your favorite football game food and drinks throughout the day.

Jr. Reporter auditions

Have a young one with a dream to be on TV some day? They'll get their first shot at glory by auditioning to be a Browns Jr. Reporter for segments that air regularly on Inside the Cleveland Browns and on ClevelandBrowns.com.

Game on

On the field, fans can test their football skills in a number of Combine-esque activities, including an obstacle challenge, Hail Mary toss and 40-yard dash. In the concourse, there's a mini field goal challenge, QB challenge, obstacles and vertical leap challenge. The on-field activities will run from the time gates open until 12:30 p.m., although fields may need to be cleared earlier due to practice set up.

The show will go on, rain or shine

May can be an unpredictable weather month in Cleveland, but it won't matter Saturday because the bulk of the activities will be located inside the concourse level. This is a rain or shine event, and that includes the team's practice session. Get your tickets now!
