On Thursday members of the East Cleveland city schools joined the Browns in a team meeting where the team announced it was donating $350,000 to the East Cleveland City Schools to help close the digital divide and address the educational issues that stem from the lack of resources in the community.

The Cleveland Browns visited University Hospitals to visit with patients to show their support and brighten spirits.

Build the Bridge strives to create a coalition of coaches, players, parents, administration and community members to foster the success of student-athletes through social-emotional, educational, and athletic advancement. The program creates opportunities for all team members to build relationships and mutual respect between diverse communities, regardless of their race, class or creed.

Through the "Get 2 School, Stay in the Game!" Network, the Cleveland Browns presented a $135,000 matching donation to support funding of the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library in the East Cleveland City School District during a celebration of Tackle Reading Across America Day at Superior Elementary.

Furthering its dedication to helping kids dream big, the Arby's Foundation presented Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) with $100,000 as part of their local grants program in support of the Cleveland Browns Foundation's "Get 2 School, Stay in the Game!" Network, a statewide initiative designed to promote the importance of school attendance and put an end to chronic absenteeism.

The Cleveland Browns hosted the East 88th St. Browns to give them a tour of the facility. During the tour, they were surprised with $10,000 for their program, new helmets for the players and two tickets to the Super Bowl.

As part of Browns Give Back's commitment to education, the Cleveland Browns Foundation and Maple Heights School District celebrated the recent launch of the Get 2 School, Stay in the Game! Network during a visit to Barack Obama Elementary School. While at the school, Browns players David Njoku and Demetrius Harris recognized select students and congratulated them for showing exemplary or significantly improved attendance.
