Cleveland Browns Foundation hosts 20th annual golf outing
The Cleveland Browns Foundation hosted its 20th annual golf outing at Westwood County Club on May 20, 2019 to raise money for education and youth football for kids in Northeast Ohio. Follow along with some of your favorite players as they try to perfect their swings and have fun on the golf course.
Browns surprise Berea-Midpark football team with $25,000 in new Xenith helmets
The Cleveland Browns hosted the Berea-Midpark football team to watch an OTA practice on Wednesday May 15, 2019. Following the practice, head coach Freddie Kitchens addressed the team until Jarvis Landry, Joel Bitonio and Joe Schobert surprised the team with brand new Xenith Helmets.
Browns host field groundbreaking at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio
The Cleveland Browns hosted an official groundbreaking for a 70-yard field at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio. The team will install high-quality synthetic turf at the center, which becomes the eighth of nine multi-sport playing fields to be funded since summer 2016 through the Browns’ and Dee and Jimmy Haslams’ commitment to youth football as part of Browns Give Back.
Cleveland Browns donate $75,000 to leadership institute
Members of the Cleveland Browns organization took a tour of Edwins Restaurant & Leadership Institute in Cleveland. On the tour they learned about the rehabilitation for its employees and donated $75,000 to renovate housing and help with the addition of a bakery.

Follow Joel Bitonio, as he attends the annual Cleveland Browns Play 60 Football Festival to support Special Olympics! Hundreds of athletes and coaches from the CMSD Special Olympics program were on hand at the Browns Training Facility for a day of Play 60 activities.

The Cleveland Browns hosted the 2019 High School Showcase in the team’s field house on Saturday. During the event, freshmen, sophomores and juniors will have the opportunity to compete in front of talent evaluators from local colleges and universities.

Drew Stanton & Browns take kids on shopping spree at Target
Drew Stanton hosted kids from the Cleveland area to a Passing Along the Joy shopping spree at Target for the holiday season. Drew was joined by teammates Baker Mayfield, Tyrod Taylor, David Njoku, Breshad Perriman and Earl Watford to spend the evening with kids and assist them on their shopping spree.
Joel Bitonio hosts annual Shop with a Pro event
Offensive lineman Joel Bitonio hosted 30 children from City of Cleveland Recreation Centers to “Shop with a Pro” at DICK’S Sporting Goods as part of the Browns’ continued effort to give back throughout the holiday season.
Baker Mayfield helps raise more than $100,000 for Providence House
As part of Browns Give Back, the Browns hosted the 23rd Annual Deck the House Benefit Auction for the Providence House. With the help of Baker Mayfield, the event helped raise over $250,000. Terrence Mitchel was also awarded this year's Ed Block Courage Award for his ability to battle back from injury, while still giving back to his community.
Browns donate $75,000 to Towards Employment
During a visit to Bloom Bakery, Browns players presented Towards Employment $75,000 as part of their commitment to social unity and equality initiatives. The grant is comprised of personal donations made by Browns players, as well as contributions from the team through the NFL’s matching club grant program focused on supporting social justice causes.

The Cleveland Browns Foundation hosted their 20th annual golf outing, presented by Key Private Bank in association with University Hospitals and Professional Travel, at the Westwood Country Club on a partly cloudy Monday. A host of important Browns figures attended: Dee and Jimmy Haslam, executive vice president JW Johnson, general manager John Dorsey, head coach Freddie Kitchens, and a selection of players, coaches and alumni.

Berea Midpark High School was surprised with $25,000 worth of new helmets from Xenith through the Browns HELMETS program in collaboration with Xenith, University Hospitals and Ohio Lottery. The event also was a pay it forward with the announcement of Barberton High School as the next school to receive $25K worth of new helmets.

The Browns will announce the ninth site selected later this month.

The Cleveland Browns hosted the 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Youth Football Summit at FirstEnergy Stadium. The summit featured approximately 200 youth football coaches throughout Northeast Ohio. During the summit, each coach learned proper tackling techniques, concussion recognition and response, heat preparedness and hydration, sudden cardiac arrest, and proper equipment fitting through USA Football's Heads Up Tackling Certification program.
Browns celebrate youth football on Draft Day 3
On the third day of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Browns hosted members of the Jr. Browns NFL Flag Football team from the City of Cleveland Fairfax Community Center at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to help announce the Browns' draft picks.

Browns players Joel Bitonio, Chris Hubbard and Daniel Ekuale joined Browns staff to host the 2019 Play 60 Football Festival, in association with University Hospitals. The Browns invited local students to have a day full of activities at the team facility, including football drills, alumni appearances and much more.

Good attendance builds a strong foundation for in-school success. GOJO®, the makers of PURELL® Hand Sanitizer, support the "Get 2 School" attendance campaign by donating PURELL® hand sanitizer to Cleveland students in an effort to promote good hand-hygiene and reduce illness-related absences. Students also received a lesson on the importance of fighting germs, especially during the flu season.
