Get 2 School initiative launched to tackle absenteeism
Student success starts with school attendance. Students who are absent from school miss important learning opportunities, which can be difficult, or even impossible to make up. The mission of the Get 2 School Network is to prioritize attendance by connecting its users to resources aimed at tackling chronic absenteeism. The Cleveland Browns Foundation, Ohio Department of Education and Proving Ground are deeply committed to this mission.
Speakers at the press event included Browns' owner Dee Haslam, former player Michael Lehan, Ohio's Superintendent of Public Institution Paolo DeMaria, Voice of the Browns Jim Donovan, and Executive Vice President of the Cleveland Browns Foundation Renee Harvey.
Ninth annual Adapted Football League All-Star game held at FirstEnergy Stadium
The Adapted Football League held it's 9th annual All-Star game at FirstEnergy Stadium. Joel Bitonio, Austin Corbett and others participated in the All-Star game as lead blockers and quarterbacks for the adapted football athletes.
Fuel Up To Play 60 10 year anniversary at FirstEnergy Stadium
The Fuel Up To Play 60 2019 student ambassador summit was held at FirstEnergy Stadium and hosted more than 240 ambassadors from across the country. They had the opportunity to play flag football with members of the Cleveland Browns to promote healthy eating and physical activity.
Greedy Williams and rookies attend Youth Football Camp at FirstEnergy Stadium
The 2019 rookie class attended and participated in a youth football camp held at FirstEnergy Stadium on June 12, 2019. Greedy Williams danced with the kids, Sione Takitaki lead tackling drills and other members of the rookie class coached flag football games and talked with the kids about their love for the game of football.
Cleveland Browns Foundation hosts 20th annual golf outing
The Cleveland Browns Foundation hosted its 20th annual golf outing at Westwood County Club on May 20, 2019 to raise money for education and youth football for kids in Northeast Ohio. Follow along with some of your favorite players as they try to perfect their swings and have fun on the golf course.
Browns surprise Berea-Midpark football team with $25,000 in new Xenith helmets
The Cleveland Browns hosted the Berea-Midpark football team to watch an OTA practice on Wednesday May 15, 2019. Following the practice, head coach Freddie Kitchens addressed the team until Jarvis Landry, Joel Bitonio and Joe Schobert surprised the team with brand new Xenith Helmets.
Browns host field groundbreaking at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio
The Cleveland Browns hosted an official groundbreaking for a 70-yard field at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio. The team will install high-quality synthetic turf at the center, which becomes the eighth of nine multi-sport playing fields to be funded since summer 2016 through the Browns’ and Dee and Jimmy Haslams’ commitment to youth football as part of Browns Give Back.
Cleveland Browns donate $75,000 to leadership institute
Members of the Cleveland Browns organization took a tour of Edwins Restaurant & Leadership Institute in Cleveland. On the tour they learned about the rehabilitation for its employees and donated $75,000 to renovate housing and help with the addition of a bakery.

The Cleveland Browns Football Camp, in association with University Hospitals and the PURELL® brand, helps kids 7-13 years old sharpen their skills as they work on all the basics. Participants get the opportunity to be coached by local high school coaches and experience once in a lifetime activities, including interacting with members of the 2019 Cleveland Browns Rookie Class!

Browns alumnus Reggie Hodges leads 2019 High School Showcase
The Cleveland Browns hosted the 2019 High School Showcase in the team’s field house on Saturday. During the event, freshmen, sophomores and juniors will have the opportunity to compete in front of talent evaluators from local colleges and universities.

The Cleveland Browns hosted the inaugural 11-On powered by NIKE in late June at the Pro Football Hall of Fame National Youth Football and Sports Complex in Canton, Ohio. The new 11-On event featured 16 Northeast Ohio high school football teams competing in a 7-on-7 competition as well as a Lineman Challenge.
