Highlights for June 24

The Cleveland Browns are committed to youth football efforts in the community. Choosing to #give10 by being a volunteer coach can help mold a child in the beginning years to have outstanding character and transferable skills that will last a lifetime. This week's Coaches Edition, highlights those who volunteer their time coaching and developing the youth of tomorrow.

Name: Marzell Pink

Hometown: Cleveland, OH

How they give back: Marzell spends his time working with kids with the goal of molding model citizens. He aims to achieve this goal by working with kids through coaching sports, such as football, and teaching in the classroom to help build kids' self-esteem, which Pink believes to be imperative. His passion of working with kids does not go unnoticed and wants everyone that he works with to know the importance of getting along with each other in the community.

Name: Brian Cesar

Hometown: Amherst, OH

How they give back: Brian serves as an educator to kids on and off the field. As a teacher and coach at Amherst Steele, Brian strives to be a role model to his students, along with wanting of be a positive influence to those he teaches. Being both a teacher and a coach allows the students to be surrounded by a positive influence such as Brian in several different aspects of their life.

Name: Joey Keleman

Hometown: North Olmsted, OH

How they give back: While Joey is still young, his impact in the community is immense. Joey strives to be a history major and eventually wants to become a teacher. Joey grew up himself going to the Rec Center in North Olmsted and wants to continue to be a resource and a good role model to those who attend. As a rec center counselor he wants to continue and be impact the kids' lives, giving back to members of the community like many did for him when he was young. 

Name: Donald Young

Hometown: Strongsville, OH

How they give back: Donald is an English teacher While Donald gives back through coaching at football camps he also does so through helping with other initiatives in the community. Donald enjoys working with his mother in the community at the hospital she works at to give presents and food to those in need during the holiday season. One of Donald's favorite things about giving back to the community is seeing the faces of the people that he is helping, inspiring him to continue to do positive work throughout Ohio.

Name: Mac Stephens

Hometown: Cleveland, OH

How they give back: Mac is doing multiple things to give back to his community and make it a better place. He chooses to #give10 by imparting knowledge into the youth of today. As a director of the recreational centers in Euclid, he is finding every way possible to keep kids active and out of trouble. He does this through implementation of sports and other after school activities. Mac is always wanting to make a difference, he recently helped as a volunteer coach during the Browns Youth Football Camps held at First Energy Stadium.
