During the 2026 season, both the Browns and Bud Light have continued to showcase their support for first responders and military service members — heroes who work to make a positive impact within their communities. The Browns, through National First Responders Day on Oct. 28, highlighted powerful stories of service and sacrifice while supporting Folds of Honor's initiative.

To celebrate National First Responders Day, the Browns hosted their second annual Bud Light First Responders event on Oct. 27. Both the Browns and Bud Light honored Cleveland Association Rescue Employees, Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department, Northern Ohio Firefighters Association, Aluminum Cans for Burned Children, IAFF Local 93, Cleveland Hopkins Airport Fire Department, Fairview Park Fire Department and the Brook Park Fire Department.  Over 50 first responders were given a behind-the-scenes tour of CrossCountry Mortgage Campus, enjoyed smashburgers from CleaveLand Grill for lunch and participated in non-contact football drills with TE Blake Whiteheart.

For Whiteheart, giving back to those who risk their lives to help others holds a special place in his heart. Whiteheart's brother is a member of the U.S. Air Force, providing him a personal reason for wanting to give back and be a part of celebrating the first responders.

"For me, especially as someone who has a brother in the Air Force who's an active service member, I think it's really important that we pour into them because it's a hard life," Whiteheart said. "It's a hard life to be sacrificing your time, your efforts, your emotions, your energy for somebody else all the time."

First responders caught punts from a JUGS machine, went through agility ladders and showed off their catching ability during the skills and drills portion of the event. Whiteheart was especially impressed with the athleticism on display when catching punts.

To wrap up the event, Bud Light surprised the group with tickets to the Browns' Week 12 home game on Nov. 29 against the Raiders. They will also have the opportunity to be on the field during the national anthem before the game, courtesy of Bud Light. When Whiteheart told them about the tickets, the group let out an excited cheer.  

"It's nice to get that kind of recognition for these guys and have the Browns support," Executive Director of Aluminum Cans for Burned Children Williams Ross said. "It was awesome to see about the tickets."

Along with Bud Light, the Browns continue to show their support for Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying educational scholarships to the families of America's fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.  The organization has provided nearly 86,000 scholarships with a value of almost $400 million.

"Having a partnership with the Browns totally amplifies Folds of Honor and the awareness in Northern Ohio," Folds of Honor Regional Impact Officer Mark Sierak said. "For them to see the importance of first responders and what they do and suit up in our communities each and every day to protect our lives, it's truly important to Folds of Honor. We are very grateful for that."
