One of the Browns' 2025 home games is officially set and will take place across the pond in London.
The Browns will host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m. ET/2:30 p.m. BST. The game will air on NFL Network.
Cleveland will face Minnesota at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the U.S. – as one of the three teams to host a game in London during the 2025 season. The Week 5 matchup against the Vikings will count as one of Browns' nine home games for the 2025 season.
The Browns and the Vikings last faced one another in the regular season in 2021, when Cleveland beat Minnesota 14-7 at U.S. Bank Stadium. The two teams have faced off against one another 17 times – including one postseason game – with the Vikings winning 12 of the matchups.
Cleveland will also face a familiar opponent while abroad.
The last time the Browns played an international game was in 2017 as part of the 2017 London Games. That matchup was also against the Vikings at Twickenham Stadium. Cleveland lost to Minnesota 33-16 in that game. It was also the Browns' lone appearance in an international game since the NFL expanded to playing a regular-season international game in 2005 – until now.
The NFL launched the NFL International Series in 2007, which featured regular-season games played outside the United States. The success of the London games in 2007 prompted the NFL to schedule regular-season games in the United Kingdom annually. The series has expanded over the years, as games are now played in venues like Wembley Stadium, Twickenham Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
