Browns sign 7th-round pick DB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu

The Cleveland Browns on Thursday signed DB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (pronounced EE-foh ek-PRAY uh-LOW-moo). General Manager Ray Farmer made the announcement.

The Browns have now signed six of their 12 2015 draft picks. That group includes linebacker Nate Orchard (second round), defensive lineman Xavier Cooper (third round), defensive back Charles Gaines (sixth round), fullback Malcolm Johnson (sixth round) and tight end Randall Telfer (sixth round).

Earned first-team All-America honors in 2013 and 2014 and third-team All-America honors in 2012 … Three-time first-team all-conference honoree … One of three finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award in 2014, given annually to the nation's top defensive back … Started 40 consecutive games at Oregon before suffering a knee injury in practice before the College Football Playoff…Totaled 141 career tackles, 31 passes defensed and nine interceptions … Attended Chino Hills High School in Chino Hills, California.
