Commander Bruce D. Hallet pumped up Browns fans at Huntington Bank Field before Cleveland's game against the Ravens.
The U.S. Navy Commander smashed a black and purple guitar with the Ravens logo on it before Cleveland played Baltimore for the second time this season.
Commander Hallet currently serves as the Commanding Officer of the USS Cleveland. He joined the Navy in July 1998 and was selected for the Seamen to Admiral Program in 2003. He attended the Naval Science Institute and was then commissioned through the NROTC program at the Maine Maritime Academy in December 2006.
He went on his first sea tour from 2007-09 as the Combat Information Center Officer and Training Officer in USS Oak Hill. He went on a shore tour from 2009-14 to the NROTC Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine, as the Surface Warfare Instructor. He then served as Operations Officer from 2015-17 in USS Forrest Sherman. He went on another sea tour as the Operations Officer from 2017-18 in Destroyer Squadron Twenty-Two based in Norfolk, Va.
Most recently ashore he served as a Maritime Operational Planner from 2019-21, assigned to Commander Sixth Fleet in Naples, Italy. Most recently at sea, he served as Executive Officer from 2022-23 in USS Detroit.
Commander Hallett's decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and various campaign and unit awards.
