Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah returned to Huntington Bank Field to pump up the crowd for the Browns' game against the Titans.

Owusu-Koramoah received a loud ovation of cheers from the crowd as he came out onto the field. He smashed a Titans-themed guitar and then raised his hands to acknowledge the fans as the cheers continued before Cleveland took on Tennessee on Dec. 7.

The Browns drafted Owusu-Koramoah in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has been a mainstay in the linebacker corps, starting 41 games and making 49 appearances across four seasons. He has tallied 308 total tackles, 40 tackles for loss, 17 passes defensed and three interceptions during his Browns career.

He led the Browns with 101 total tackles in 2023. He also recorded 3.5 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, six passes defensed and picked off two passes in 2023. He was named to his first Pro Bowl and was a key part of the Browns having the top overall defense in the NFL in the 2023 season.

He was on his way to another stellar season in 2024, notching 61 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss and three sacks in eight games. He suffered a neck injury in Week 8 against the Ravens and was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 2, 2024, causing him to miss the remainder of the season. He was then placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list on May 12, 2025, and ruled out for the 2025 season.

"JOK (Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah) was on his way to an All-Pro season last year," defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said on June 4. "His ability to blitz and rush the passer and he made coverage look easy. The game had slowed down for him and all those things together, it's disappointing to lose a player like that, but we support JOK and everything that he does."

While Owusu-Koramoah has been out, he has still contributed to the Browns in a variety of ways this season. He was on the sidelines of Browns training camp practice on Aug. 20 and has been around the team in different capacities throughout the season.

"Jeremiah (Owusu-Koramoah) is huge part of this football team," head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Aug. 20. "He's a huge part of who we are and what we strive to be. So, always fun to have him out here. He'll be out here, hopefully a good bit, but he'll be visiting us and doing some work with us, but we love having Jeremiah out here."

LB Carson Schwesinger has relied on Owusu-Koramoah as a guide and mentor to help him in his rookie season. Schwesinger is on pace to lead the Browns in tackles, just like Owusu-Koramoah did in 2023.

"He's been helpful," Schwesinger said on Nov. 20. "I think he's been great. Just going to him with any questions or advice has been great."
