As the Browns prepared to introduce the Dawg Pound Captain for the final home game of the 2025 season, a special message first appeared on the video board.

Browns Legend QB Bernie Kosar shared a message with fans in attendance about Bryce Dunlap, a Browns fan and the person who Kosar received a liver transplant from. He then introduced his mother Kimberly Dunlap Kane.

Kane then walked out onto the field to set the tone for the Browns' final home game of the season against the Steelers, and inspired the crowd at Huntington Bank Field. Kane smashed a black and yellow Steelers-themed guitar before kickoff as Cleveland prepared to play Pittsburgh in Week 17.

Bryce Dunlap passed away on Nov. 16. Kosar had been waiting for a liver transplant after being diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and Parkinson's disease in 2024. Kosar received the transplant on Nov. 17 and was discharged from the hospital on Nov. 24.
