2020 NFL Draft

Friday roundup: Sashi Brown, Hue Jackson talk trade as Browns close minicamp

Happy Friday, Dawg Pound!

Here's what you might've missed from a Thursday in which executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown, coach Hue Jackson, Josh McCown and Robert Griffin III met with the local media to talk the end of minicamp and the Browns' trade down to No. 8.

With the draft less than a week away, you can watch the full episode of Road to the Draft — which aired Thursday night — right here.

MMQB's Robert Klemko thinks the Browns will trade down again — this time with the Miami Dolphins in exchange for the No. 13 pick — and select Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch. (Editor's note: This note listed this incorrect author of the above story and has since been corrected).

ESPN.com's Bill Barnwell put together a 2016 All-Trades Mock Draft thinks Cleveland will trade its No. 8 pick to the Titans in exchange for a second-round pick this year and first-round pick in 2017. NFL.com and former Cowyboys executive Gil Brandt compiled a list of seven draft prospects deserving of more buzz. The list includes Pittsburgh receiver Tyler Boyd, who could be around at No. 32 if the Browns so choose to address the position in the draft.
