Kirtland and Cuyahoga Heights have met in regular and playoff play in the past two years. Both teams currently sit with a perfect overall and conference record.
Kirtland, led by Head Coach Tiger Laverde, is coming off their eighth straight win. The Hornets dominated Fairport Harding 55-0 last Thursday on the road. This was Kirtland's fourth shutout of the 2017 season.
Cuyahoga Heights is coming off their seventh straight win. The Redskins defeated Berkshire 39-12 on the road last week and gave Head Coach Al Martin his 200th win. Overall, Martin has a 200-44 record.
Cuyahoga Heights will be celebrating their Senior Night at tonight's game.
