As the days wind down before the Browns' matchup Sunday with the Bengals, we're checking out what they're saying in Cincinnati about the game.
No. 1 this week, swarming to the ball and tackling. No one guy has brought these guys down. Itâs been gang-tackling type efforts. Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, on Cleveland's RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt
Regardless of what heâs doing, wherever he lines up, theyâre going to know that heâs the fastest guy in the league. His ability to play at that level and to have that speed on the field helps us out a lot.â Bengals QB Andy Dalton on WR John Ross, who will return Sunday
Canât play the safety six yards in the box. It helps me a lot. If you do, weâll make you pay for it. Itâs that simple. Iâm happy to have him back. Iâm sure Andy is. Iâm sure Tyler is. It makes my job easier when youâve got a seven-man box instead of an eight, nine man box.â Bengals RB Joe Mixon on the return of Ross
When you see the Cleveland Browns, period, thereâs a lot of talent out there. They have a lot of talent on offense. On defense, theyâre good. Theyâre tight. They run man coverage. Those two corners are really fast. They have a good linebacker group and they can really get after the passer up front, even without Myles Garrett, whoâs a great player. They still have a lot of talent up front that can be concerning if you donât have a great plan for them. Itâs a really good team, and it will be a tough test for our guys. Bengals coach Zac Taylor
Heâs really good. He shows up on tape all over the field. You can see what heâs done in his career. Like you said, heâs put up a ton of stats â a ton of tackles. Heâs in the right spot. He has a couple interceptions. Heâs a really good football player. Bengals QB Andy Dalton on Browns LB Joe Schobert
At the end of the day, we just gotta keep him off the field. Mixon on Browns QB Baker Mayfield
