Selected by the Houston Texans in the first round (12th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft…Traded to the Cleveland Browns on March 20, 2022.

Awards/Honors

· Three-time Pro Bowl selection (2018-20).

· Two-time AFC Offensive Player of the Month (October 2017 and October 2019).

· Five-time AFC Offensive Player of the Week (Week 4 2017, Week 3 2019, Week 5 2019, Week 13 2019 and Week 11 2020).

· NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month in October 2017.

· Entering 2022, has recorded the highest completion percentage in NFL history (67.8 percent) among all players with at least 1,500 passing attempts.

· Led the NFL in passing yards with 4,823 in 2020.

· Set Texans franchise record with 33 passing touchdowns in 2020.

· Became the first player in NFL history to record consecutive seasons (2018-19) with at least 25 passing touchdowns and five rushing touchdowns.

Beyond Football

· Launched Deshaun Watson Foundation in 2019, dedicated to education, health, housing and other charitable causes that support families and youth in underserved communities.

· In 2006, at the age of 11, Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn donated a home to Watson's family through Dunn's charity Homes for the Holidays, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

· In 2017, donated his first NFL game check of approximately $27,000 to NRG Stadium cafeteria employees affected by Hurricane Harvey.
