Black River Remains Undefeated

Black River and Keystone met tonight to kick off conference play.

The game started off hot with Keystone's #1 Justin Able returning the first punt for 61 yards for the initial touchdown. Black River answered back with two rushing touchdowns from #45 Jake Campbell and #11 Riley Gibbs.

In the second quarter it was all Black River as Campbell kept the running game going and netted his second touchdown of the night.

At the half, both bands put on a great show for the fans and played throwback songs Dark Side of the Moon and Bohemian Rhapsody.

The third quarter kicked off with Keystone showing some life. Dylan Naylor took the ball 62-yards to the house and just like that Keystone was back in the game.

Black River soon stormed back, and between Campbell and Gibbs there was no stopping the running game. Keystone fell to Black River 48-14.

Black River's Campbell finished the game with 5 touchdowns, making him this week's most valuable player.

Of course no game is complete without great volunteers. This week's community highlight goes out to Anna Stefan. Stefan works the 50/50 raffle at Keystone home games and loves to give back to her community. The proceeds she helps raise goes back into the school's athletic funds.

Both Campbell and Head Coach Al Young will be honored on field this Sunday at the Browns home game against the Bengals.

Congratulations to Black River on winning week six of High School Game of the Week!
