INDIANAPOLIS — With workouts at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine set to begin on Feb. 26, and the Browns having two picks in the first round and another high in the second round, there is much discussion around how Cleveland can address roster needs with its picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Browns have a total of 10 draft picks in the draft. Following the end of the 2025 season, Cleveland landed the No. 6 overall pick and hold a second first-round pick at No. 24 from a draft-night trade with the Jaguars. They hold their own picks in Rounds 2-5. In addition, they also have a fifth-round pick from Las Vegas (QB Kenny Pickett trade), a fifth-round pick from Cincinnati (QB Joe Flacco trade), a sixth-round pick from Chicago (DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka trade) and a seventh-round pick from Seattle (C Nick Harris trade).
NFL Network Lead Draft Analyst Daniel Jeremiah believes the Browns can use their early picks – particularly in the first round – to address their needs on the offensive line.
"They've got to have a heavy investment there," Jeremiah said on the annual conference call on Feb. 19 ahead of the NFL combine. "I think there's two offensive tackles that are in that range up there with (Francis) Mauigoa and (Spencer) Fano. But there's also opportunities for them, if they wanted to wait, they could get one at 24. I propose the idea of doing both, of just getting your two tackles there."

Miami OT Francis Mauigoa and Utah OT Spencer Fano are both invited to the NFL combine and are names to keep an eye on throughout the week in Indianapolis. Offensive linemen will participate in live drills on Sunday, March 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
Mauigoa was a three-year starter at right tackle for the Hurricanes, starting all 42 career games and was a 2025 team captain. At 6-foot-6, 335 lbs., he is seen as a prospect that can function in a downhill run scheme.
Fano played 37 career games, including 36 starts, and he only allowed four sacks – the last of which came in Week 1 of the 2024 season. Fano played both tackle positions at Utah, and has size, power and technique to be successful at either left or right tackle. At 6-foot-6, 308 lbs., he is seen as a prospect that can operate well in an outside zone scheme.
Jeremiah also highlighted one other offensive lineman in the 2026 draft class.
"I think the best offensive lineman in the draft is the Penn State interior offensive lineman (Olaivavega) Ioane," Jeremiah said.
Ioane played 44 career games in his four seasons at Penn State with 32 career starts. He started all 16 games in 2024, and all 11 games played in 2025 at guard. At 6-foot-4, 323 lbs., he is seen as a prospect that fits well in physical run schemes. Ioane will also be at the NFL combine.
The Browns' offensive line has some questions heading to free agency and the draft, with G Joel Bitonio, G Wyatt Teller, LT Cam Robinson, C Ethan Pocic and G Teven Jenkins set to be unrestricted free agents as contracts expire when free agency officially begins on March 11. Executive Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Andrew Berry said following the season that there would be an investment in the offense – and particularly on the offensive line – during the offseason.
Depending on how free agency shakes out at offensive tackle and guard, the Browns can also rely on the draft to add young talent to their roster and fill positions. Berry said during his press conference at the NFL combine on Feb. 24 they could look to create a mix of youth and experience to rebuild the offensive line if the player markets line up for Cleveland.
With the focus for the week on draft prospects who could be in the conversation, Jeremiah gave his best-case scenario for the Browns on how to accomplish addressing the needs on the offensive line in the draft.
"Let me give you the perfect draft. If they took Mauigoa and that was their first pick out of Miami, and then they were to move up a little bit from 24 – and I know people will say, you don't move up for a guard, that's a no no – but man, you could end up with (Olaivavega Ioane) and Mauigoa, and all of a sudden you've got two potentially two dominant players for that offensive line."
