*How do you give back?

One last Flashback Friday to show specific ways our players gave back to the community in Cleveland and back home. They did things around the holidays and gave back just for fun of it, like installing basketball hoops at local firehouses. Even in the offseason the giving continues as players return to their hometowns to spread the goodwill. It is important to our team that they give back and do well on and off the field.

Name: Corey Coleman
Hometown: Dallas, TX
How they give back:
Corey chose to #give10 the week before Thanksgiving by hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for all members of the Broadway Boys and Girls Club. The event consisted of Corey and other Browns players serving food and hanging out with local Cleveland school-age kids. When asked why Corey chose to #give10, he said, "To put a smile on these kids' faces is unbelievable, and how they just lit up when they saw me."

Name: Zach Banner
Hometown: Lakewood, WA
How they give back:
Zach is heavily involved with his own charity, the B3 Foundation. Zach has hosted events such as speaking with local schools about the importance of education and making sure they make positive decisions. He's heading to Guam with fellow teammate Larry Ogunjobi to run camps for kids to attend. He raised awareness to his charitable cause during the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats game.

Name: Isaiah Crowell
Hometown: Columbus, GA
How they give back:
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Browns RB Isaiah Crowell chose to #give10 and help out his hometown of Columbus, GA. Crowell donated 100 turkeys back to his hometown church in an effort to feed 100 families a Thanksgiving meal. When asked why Crowell chose to give back to his community, he said, "I love my church, and I love my hometown. This is another way for my family and I to show our love for Columbus."

Name: Christian Kirksey
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
How they give back:
Christian Kirksey is heavily involved with the Cleveland community. Throughout the season, Christian was involved in countless First and Ten Tuesday events, which included visiting schools, recreation centers and first responders. Additionally, through his event, "Winter Kirkoland," he hosted Cleveland families for dinner, the chance to meet Santa and receive presents.

Name: DeShone Kizer
Hometown: Toledo, OH
How they give back:
DeShone visited University Hospitals on multiple occasions to spend time with children in the oncology unit. He connected with patients and their families on a personal level engaging in special activities. He also returned for Santa Kizer, bringing toys, gifts and electronics to families with a member who is undergoing treatment. It was something he took upon himself to do, and it was an exciting time.

The Browns are dedicated to #give10 through the team's First and Ten initiative. Launched in June 2014, the Cleveland Browns First and Ten campaign is the team's community program, established to inspire fans to volunteer in and help their communities throughout the world by volunteering for 10 hours each year. Since its inception, Browns fans have committed to volunteering more than 1.5 million hours to impact their communities by pledging to #give10. Through First and Ten, the Browns are the only NFL club to promote a long-term volunteering program that unifies the team and its entire fan base, with the goal of impacting every individual's city across the globe, as well as the franchise's local community. All Browns fans are encouraged to join the volunteering effort by signing the First and Ten pledge on the team's website and by sharing their stories with #give10**
