Add another Rookie of the Week honor to the Browns' growing list.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield, who threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns and added 43 rushing yards in Cleveland's overtime loss to the Buccaneers, was named the Week 7 Rookie of the Week on Friday. It's the second time he's won the award, the first coming after his breakout performance Week 3 against the Jets.
This marks the fifth time in seven weeks a Cleveland player has won the award. Cornerback Denzel Ward won it twice and running back Nick Chubb took it home after a Week 4 loss to the Raiders.
Mayfield beat out Broncos DL Bradley Chubb, Cowboys WR Michael Gallup, Colts LB Darius Leonard and Lions RB Kerryon Johnson.
On the season, Mayfield has thrown for 1,291 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
