Browns RB Nick Chubb up for NFL's top weekly rushing award

Nick Chubb rushed his way into Browns history Sunday.

It just might have been enough of a performance to be recognized as the NFL's best running back of Week 10.

Chubb, Cleveland's second-round rookie, is one of three nominees for the "Ground" part of the NFL's FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week. He's up against Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott and Packers RB Aaron Jones.

Chubb notched the longest run in Browns history when he bolted 92 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Falcons. He finished with 176 rushing yards, 33 receiving yards and the first receiving touchdown of his NFL career in the 28-16 victory.

Since he took over as the Browns' starting running back in Week 7, Chubb has amassed 406 rushing yards, 48 receiving and a combined four touchdowns. On the season, he has 579 yards and six total touchdowns. Thanks to three long touchdown runs, he's averaging a whopping 6.2 yards per carry.
