The Browns lost 41-17 to the Ravens in Baltimore in Week 2, losing their second divisional game of the 2025 season.

Now, they have the chance to rebound in their second home game of the season against the Packers on Sept. 21. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said he's looking for the Browns to mesh together going into the rest of the season.

"Obviously, frustrating results in that game. Clearly didn't play well enough on offense, defense, or special teams, didn't coach well enough when you get that result," Stefanski said. "But understand that we have to find a way to find a way to win and certainly have to find a way to play complementary ball in these ball games."

Here are the main pieces of news heading into Week 3.

Injury Updates

WR DeAndre Carter is in the concussion protocol, Stefanski announced on Monday, after being injured on the opening kickoff against Baltimore.

Stefanski said he expected CB Denzel Ward to be good this week after dealing with cramping against Baltimore that saw him in and out of the game.

Sticking with Joe Flacco

After the Ravens game, Stefanski emphasized that he's sticking with QB Joe Flacco as his starting quarterback. The 18-year veteran has thrown for 489 yards through the first two games as well as a touchdown pass in each game. Flacco also has four turnovers in the first two games, but Stefanski said the reason for issues with the offense isn't due to the play of one person.

"Joe (Flacco) knows there are plays that he can be better on, and it obviously starts with protecting the ball in this game," Stefanski said. "He understands that and that's our focus moving forward."

TE Harold Fannin Jr. said he believes in Flacco, noting that he has done a good job leading the offense since training camp. Fannin said the offense watched the tape of the game, seeing both positive and negative moments in their execution against Baltimore. The next step for the offense is aiming to turn the good tape from the first two weeks into great tape for the rest of the season. Fannin said from the film, they have one main issue that they need to fix, which they will address in practice throughout the week to see translate to Week 3.

"Like I said, we are this close and Joe (Flacco's) going to do a good job of taking those shots and things like that," Fannin said. "I mean (the plays are) going to come. It's going to come."

Quinshon Judkins makes NFL debut

RB Quinshon Judkins made his NFL debut against the Ravens after signing with the Browns on Sept. 6. He ran for 61 yards on 10 carries, including a 31-yard run in the fourth quarter, breaking tackles from four defenders and getting to the Baltimore 34-yard line.

After his first week of practice with the Browns and first taste of NFL game action, Stefanski said he thought Judkins did a nice job with what he was asked to do against Baltimore. For Judkins, earning more responsibility in the run game now depends on how he looks heading into the game against Green Bay.

"(The next steps are to) get him in here, get a lift, get treatment, see how his body's feeling, but I think he certainly is capable of doing more and we'll treat it just like we did last week," Stefanski said. "Then we'll see how he comes through the week and make those types of decisions as the week goes on."
