The Browns fell to the Bears, 34-10, on Saturday afternoon at Soldier Field in their first preseason game.
QB Deshaun Watson started the game and played the first half, finishing 11-for-15 for 126 yards. QB Shedeur Sanders played the third quarter and into the fourth, finishing 6-for-11 for 79 yards and an interception.

Browns start quick on offense
After forcing a three-and-out on Chicago's first drive, WR KC Concepcion returned the ensuing punt 31 yards. On the Browns' drive, WR Jerry Jeudy caught a 14-yard pass to force a third-and-5. Watson found WR Denzel Boston for a 15-yard gain on the next play for a first down. A few plays later, K Andre Szmyt nailed a 50-yard field goal to put the Browns up 3-0.
On Cleveland's next possession, Watson converted on fourth-and-1 with a quarterback sneak. On second-and-15, RB Dylan Sampson took a delayed screen pass 43 yards into Chicago territory. Watson connected with Concepcion on an 11-yard throw outside the numbers to put the Browns in the red zone. On the next play, Concepcion found the end zone for the first touchdown of the game on a 14-yard run.
Chicago scores three unanswered second half touchdowns
The Bears started the opening drive of the third quarter on their own 22-yard line, where QB Case Keenum connected with TE Stephen Carlson for an 11-yard gain. RB Salvon Ahmed tallied a 12-yard run on first-and-10. After a six-yard Keenum scramble, Ahmed took a short pass 49 yards to the end zone.
After forcing a three-and-out on Sanders' second drive of the third quarter, Keenum connected with WR Ray-Ray McCloud III for a 13-yard gain. Three plays later, Keenum found McCloud III again for a 28-yard reception. The Bears capped the drive off with a six-yard touchdown pass to RB Brittain Brown.
The Bears added their final touchdown of the second half on a two yard run by Coleman Bennett late in the fourth quarter.
Bears tie game at halftime
The Bears recovered a fumble from Watson on fourth-and-2 on the Browns' second drive of the second quarter. A 19-yard run by RB Roschon Johnson on the ensuing drive converted a third-and-3. On the next play, QB Tyson Bagent connected with WR Maurice Alexander for a 25-yard touchdown.
After a quick Browns three-and-out, Bagent put the Bears into field goal range with under a minute left in the second quarter with two 21-yard completions. K Cairo Santos converted a 51-yard field goal to tie the game at halftime.
Browns first half defensive plays
DE Julian Okwara tallied the first sack of the season for the Browns, getting home to Bagent late in the second quarter. CB Michael Coats Jr. intercepted Bagent with a diving grab later in the same drive for the defense's first takeaway. DE Khordae Sydnor sacked Bagent for a loss of 11 yards on the final Bears drive of the second quarter.
