The Browns have adopted the right mentality to focus on the current task at hand. Training camp can be a long few weeks, and QB Joe Flacco expressed his appreciation for enjoying the moment, especially since it is only day two.

"Second day of camp, I think the best thing for me is to just stay in the moment and come out here and have fun and compete and just do what I love to do," Flacco said. "It's a new season. Everyone has a fresh mindset, and a lot of the guys in here have a really good one to begin with. They know how to win football games, and that makes you feel good about lining up with them."

Nearly everybody got some work in during Thursday's practice. All four quarterbacks took reps, along with every other position, ending with special teams. The Browns ran 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 drills in different periods of practice.

DT Mason Graham knows that with more practice, the days get easier.

"I've been working hard, just like everyone else, and I want to be a player for this team that can make an impact right away," Graham said. "Every day I'm feeling more and more comfortable, so I'll have a little more time to get the full grasp of the defense."

Cleveland is chipping away at all the work it must do, holding a mentality of taking one day at a time. QB Kenny Pickett clarified on what he is focusing on in the early days of training camp.

"It's not going to be done in one day," Pickett said. "It's not going to be done in two weeks. It's you got to show up and be your best every single day. So that's really what I'm focused on doing."

Focusing on each day helps the Browns pay attention to all the small things that they must improve. HC Kevin Stefanski recognizes that the team is still in the process of being gameday ready.

"There's all this little dirty work, the little things in this building that no one notices that have to get you ready for that," Stefanski said. "I think at least mentality wise for our football team, we recognize that the seasons coming in September, but man, we got so much work to do. Some physical work, some mental work, but we're just gonna keep our head down and focus on that work."
