OHSAA Football Computer Ratings:
2.) St. Vincent-St. Mary (Division III, Region 7)
8.) West Geauga (Division III, Region 7)

The Fighting Irish are coming off a convincing 49-28 win against Canfield. The Wolverines battled against a tough Buckeye squad, squeaking it out in triple overtime with a score of 35-28.

This Wolverine team showed that they have the desire to win, but will it show up against the Fighting Irish? WR Carmen Engoglia and RB Joe Daddario have been the cornerstones of this team throughout the year. Daddario has already compiled over 1,000 yards rushing while Engoglia has already earned Browns #HSGOTW Player of the week once this season. In order for this team to win tonight, they will need to control the clock and choose their deep plays well playing against a stingy Irish defense.

The Irish didn't have as tough a test as the Wolverines in Round 1, as they have been a dominant offensive squad all season. Led by Ivy League recruit RB Markus Hurd who has totaled 1,257 yards and 17 touchdowns, this team will be looking to rely on his stout running ability. Don't discount QB Dom Davis, who was dominant in last week's victory, accounting for 2 rushing and 2 passing touchdowns.

Both teams are coming off huge winning streaks; West Geauga-10, St.Vincent-St.Mary-6. With both teams having little memory of what losing feels like, they don't want to have a reminder tonight. The key to this game for the Wolverines will to be force turnovers and rely on Daddario's rushing attack. On the Irish side, they will need to keep West G's offense in check while making sure to rely on their veteran leadership.

Two similar teams take the field tonight in a game that will have them continue on their path to a State Championship. With a whole season's hard work on the line, we should see a great exhibition of Ohio High School football tonight in Ravenna.
