Browns DE Myles Garrett has once again been named to the NFL Top 100 Players list, landing at No. 8 in the 2025 rankings. The NFL Top 100 Players list is voted on annually by players around the league.

Garrett is coming off a 2024 season in which he broke records and cemented his name in both NFL and franchise history.

He led the league with 22 tackles for loss, while also recording 14 sacks, 47 total tackles, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. His 14 sacks marked the fourth straight season with 14 or more – the first player in NFL history to reach 14 or more sacks in four consecutive seasons.

Breaking NFL records and securing his name in franchise history didn't stop there during the 2024 season. Garrett became the 45th player in NFL history since 1982 to surpass 100 career sacks, and the fourth-fastest player to do so with his 115th game. He is also the only player to accomplish that feat before his 29th birthday. His 102.5 career sacks are the second-most in the NFL since 2017 – just behind T.J. Watt – and are the most by a Brown all time.

Garrett remains one of the NFL's most disruptive forces, commanding double teams last season on a career-high 30 percent of pass rush attempts. He has earned six Pro Bowl selections, been named First-Team All-Pro four times and won Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. With 352 tackles and the most sacks in franchise history, Garrett's dominance has been a constant in Cleveland for eight seasons.

Garrett signed a four-year contract extension that runs through the 2030 season, cementing himself for the foreseeable future as the cornerstone of Cleveland's defense. As the Browns head into the 2025 season, Garrett has continued to step into a larger leadership role, with the understanding that his continued success on the field will play a critical factor in the overall success of the Browns. He was also recently named one of the Browns' team captains for the 2025 season.

"I really think the next step for Myles is not Defensive Player of the year," defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said. "He's been there, done that. Next step for him is MVP candidate. If we're playing good on defense and he's at the heart of that, I think he's in that conversation. He is obviously a marked man in every game."
