The Browns limited the Dolphins to six points, both a season-low points scored for Miami and season-best points allowed for Cleveland, winning 31-6 on Oct. 19. Cleveland improved its record at Huntington Bank Field to 2-1 with the win, allowing an average of 11 points.

"I think it was a huge win honestly," S Grant Delpit said. "Just to get one, now we need to multiply those. […] It's time to skyrocket this thing and keep this momentum going."

After the Browns' 25-point victory, let's look at three players who made a difference against the Dolphins.

RB Quinshon Judkins

RB Quinshon Judkins ran for three touchdowns against the Dolphins, totaling 84 yards on 25 attempts, including a career-long 46-yard touchdown. Judkins' trio of rushing scores was the most by a Browns player since Nick Chubb on Sept. 18, 2022, and the most by a Browns rookie since Travis Prentice on Oct. 8, 2000.

On Judkins' 46-yard score in the second quarter, multiple Dolphins defenders tried to bring him down, but with the rain, couldn't do so. Dolphins S Minkah Fitzpatrick came the closest to bringing down the Judkins, but he slipped out of Fitzpatrick's grasp and sped off to the end zone. The touchdown gave the Browns a 10-3 lead in the second quarter, a lead they didn't give up.

Judkins was also utilized on the goal line in wildcat situations. He totaled three carries out of the formation, two of which he ran for touchdowns.

On the first wildcat touchdown, he bobbled the snap, shook off a tackle and spun around T KT Leveston on his way into the end zone. The score gave Cleveland a 17-3 lead in the second quarter. On his second wildcat touchdown, he maneuvered through his blockers and Miami defenders, bringing the score to 31-6 in the fourth quarter.

"Everybody does a great job and even today you see it on film, everybody getting to those blocks and making plays on the field," Judkins said. "So, we played complementary football."

S Grant Delpit

Delpit helped contribute to two of the four takeaways the Browns created against the Dolphins. Delpit forced a fumble and blitzed Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, goading him into a mistake.

On the Dolphins kickoff return in the second quarter, Delpit came in from the left of Dolphins KR Dee Eskridge and punched the ball out, allowing S Rayshawn Jenkins to recover the fumble. Then, in the fourth quarter, Delpit blitzed down a free path to Tagovailoa, forcing Miami's quarterback to either take a safety or throw the ball. Tagovailoa chose the latter, and the pass went right to Jenkins.

Delpit rounded out his game with two tackles and a sack in the second quarter, his first of the season, adding two quarterback hits.

"Grant is a valuable asset to this defense but this team also. He is a leader, he plays not only verbally but also physically," DE Alex Wright said. "You look to '9' to make plays regardless of the situation, whether it is backed up or it's in the red zone. He always finds himself around the ball and those are the types you need to have on the team."

S Rayshawn Jenkins

The day before the game against the Dolphins, Jenkins gave a speech to the Browns, according to Wright. In the speech, Jenkins told his teammates that on every play, two things can happen – a win or a loss.

"I talked about just winning every play individually," Jenkins said. "I really just encouraged our guys to check that win column more than that 'L' column. I told them if we did that, we would find ourselves in a pretty good spot."

On Oct. 19, the Browns won more plays than they lost, and Jenkins helped contribute to that goal. He recorded both his first interception and fumble recovery of the season with the Browns.

On the kickoff return that Delpit knocked the ball out, Jenkins tracked down the bouncing ball and fell on it, his first takeaway of the game. Then, later in the second quarter, Jenkins tracked down RB De'Von Achane going to the left for a screen pass and hit him, putting the ball into the air. CB Tyson Campbell caught the ball and ran 34 yards for a pick-six in part thanks to Jenkins' hit on Achane.

Jenkins picked off Tagovailoa in the fourth quarter, catching a pass in the numbers after Tagovailoa was pressured by Delpit. Jenkins ran the pick to Miami's 2-yard line, setting up a Judkins touchdown a play later.

"Everybody played some really good complementary football, they played together today," Jenkins said. "Everybody playing some of their best football at the same time is what I was preaching. It goes to show you that if we come out and do what we do, we can be good."
