Pregame Note:
Midview (4-0) is led by second year coach Derek Shaw. Since taking over in 2014, the Middies are 16-1 under the former defensive coordinator, with their only loss coming in the regional finals to division II state runner-up, Nordonia.

Berea-Midpark (4-0) is led by coach Ray Hradek. Hradek is in his third year coaching the newly formed Berea-Midpark Titans. Under Hradek, the Titans finished the 2014 season 8-3 and made the division I playoffs one year after the rival schools, Berea High and Midpark High merged.

This marks the first season Midview has competed in the Southwestern Conference, which includes Amherst Steele, Avon, Avon Lake, Berea-Midpark, Lakewood, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, Olmsted Falls and Westlake.

The Middies are coming off a record-setting performance, defeating a deep and talented Avon team on the road 55-35. Junior QB Dustin Crum set a new Lorain County record with eight touchdown passes, while finding his favorite target, senior WR Logan Bolin six times--matching the current state record for touchdown receptions. Through 4 games, Crum has completed 81 of 109 passes (74.3%) for 1229 yards, 19 touchdowns and 0 interceptions, while also leading the team in rushing attempts (60) and yards (363) registering 3 rushing touchdowns. Bolin leads the team with 34 receptions for 535 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The Titans have found success with a steady rushing attack that averages 219.8 yards per game. Senior RB Shawn Epps Jr. leads the ground assault with 66 carries for 490 yards (7.4 yards per rush) and 5 total touchdowns. Senior QB Nick Gassman has complemented the ground game, by completing 28 of 52 passes for 513 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Titans will need to keep the high powered Middies offense off the field by establishing the run and controlling the game tempo and time of possession. Michigan State commit, ILB Joey Bachie, will need to disrupt and take away the short to intermediate routes in middle of field, while Sr. Safety Jon Turk will look to add to his 3 INTs by keying on Crum's reads.

One team's quest for an undefeated season will end tonight under the lights. Find out who at George Finnie Stadium.
