5 local players heading to the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl

The first stop on the way to the 2026 NFL Draft is in Mobile, Ala. during the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl, which gives seniors and draft prospects a chance to showcase their talent and connect with coaches, scouts and front office members.

Practices run from Jan. 27-29 in Mobile, Ala., at Hancock Whitney Stadium, while the Senior Bowl Game is set for Jan. 31. As players from across the country travel to Alabama for the Senior Bowl, five players from collegiate programs in Ohio will also participate. Let's take a look at those players.

CB Davison Igbinosun, Ohio State

CB Davison Igbinosun began his collegiate career at the University of Mississippi, playing in all 13 games with 10 starts at cornerback as a true freshman. He recorded 37 total tackles and five pass breakups in his lone season at Ole Miss in 2022. He then transferred to Ohio State following the 2022 season and made an immediate impact on the secondary. In three seasons with Ohio State, Igbinosun recorded 156 tackles, four tackles for loss, four interceptions, 24 passes defensed and three fumble recoveries. Igbinosun is currently projected as a Day 2 prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.

TE Will Kacmarek, Ohio State

TE Will Kacmarek spent the past two seasons at Ohio State in 2024 and 2025 after playing three seasons at Ohio University. In those three seasons, Kacmarek recorded 42 receptions for 507 yards and two touchdowns in 29 career games. Then over two seasons at Ohio State, he totaled 23 receptions for 254 yards and two touchdowns over 26 career games. Kacmarek is also recognized as an elite blocking tight end, a skill set that balances out his receiving stats. He is projected as a Day 3 prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.

S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Toledo

In his four seasons at Toledo, S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren recorded 214 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, one sack, five interceptions, 17 passes defensed, nine forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. McNeil-Warren had his best collegiate season in 2025, with a career-high in solo tackles and total tackles, as well as tackles for loss and passes defensed. He was a third-team AP All America selection, marking the second player from Toledo to make the AP All-America team in 18 years. He was also named a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award – one of 15 defensive backs and the only MAC player on the list. He is projected as a Day 2 prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.

WR Tyren Montgomery, John Carroll

WR Tyren Montgomery played two seasons at John Carroll University beginning in 2024, after playing two seasons at Nicholls State University. He finished the 2025 season leading JCU with 1,528 receiving yards and ranked second in NCAA Division III. Montgomery holds the JCU career receiving yards record with 2,599 yards and the single-season reception record with 119 receptions. In his two seasons at JCU, Montgomery played in 26 games, totaling 176 receptions for 2,599 receiving yards and 32 receiving touchdowns, as well as 288 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns.

OL Ethan Onianwa, Ohio State

OL Ethan Oniawa spent the first portion of his collegiate career at Rice University from 2021-24. He played in three games his first season but then redshirted the 2021 season as a true freshman. He played in 37 games over the next three seasons and started 34 games – including 25 consecutive starts at right tackle in 2022 and 2023. Onianwa moved to left tackle in 2024 and started all nine games played that season. He then transferred to Ohio State ahead of the 2025 season and played in all 13 games.
