The 2026 regular season is inching closer to the start, with rookies and quarterbacks reporting back to CrossCountry Mortgage Campus on Thursday. The rest of the roster will return on July 28.
Training camp is set to begin on July 29, with Cleveland holding a total of nine open practice sessions. The first open practice will be held on July 31, with the final one coming on Aug. 12. The Browns' first preseason game will be just three days later, on Aug. 15, when they go on the road to take on the Bears in Chicago.
The Browns will host Buffalo for a joint practice on Aug. 20 in preparation of their second preseason game at home against the Bills on Aug. 22. Wrapping up the preseason, Cleveland will host the Patriots on Aug. 27.
In the 2026 NFL Draft, the Browns made 10 selections, including four across the first two rounds. The Browns revamped their wide receiver room, drafting Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, while also bolstering the offensive line after selecting T Spencer Fano with the ninth overall pick. Through rookie minicamp, OTAs and minicamp, the rookie class utilized the offseason program to transition to the NFL.
Now, the rookie class, as well as the quarterbacks, return to continue their preparation for the 2026 season.
