The Browns continue to bolster their offensive line with veteran presence, as they have agreed to terms with free agent C/G Elgton Jenkins.

Jenkins is entering his eighth NFL season after spending his first seven seasons with the Packers. Green Bay first drafted Jenkins in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he started 94 of 96 career games played.

While with the Packers, Jenkins moved around the offensive line over his seven seasons, playing at left guard, left tackle, right tackle and center. He is a two-time Pro Bowl honoree (2020 and 2022) and helped the Packers lead the league in fewest sacks allowed (203) since 2019. He also helped pave the way for 1,000-yard rushers in RB Aaron Jones (2019-20, 2022) and RB Josh Jacobs (2024). In 2025, Jenkins allowed two sacks, two hits and just 10 total pressures in 538 offensive snaps played.

Jenkins brings key veteran experience to the offensive line for the Browns. With the new league year officially starting, Cleveland had six offensive linemen hit the market. Executive Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Andrew Berry said the offense – and in particular the offensive line – would see turnover during the offseason.

Since that turnover, the Browns have addressed the offensive line early in free agency with the acquisition of T Tytus Howard in a trade with the Texans and the addition of G Zion Johnson.

The Browns have agreed to terms with OL Elgton Jenkins, who played seven seasons for the Packers after first being drafted by Green Bay in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. While with the Packers, he started 94 of 96 games played.
