As a part of Alumni Weekend, the Browns continued to honor the 1985 Cleveland Browns team ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Packers. Highlights from the 1985 season played on the video board, reflecting on the success of the season in which they reached the playoffs, and the 40th anniversary of the Dawg Pound.
Twenty-three alumni from the 1985 stood in the east end zone and received individual introductions and warm welcomes from fans in attendance. Those alumni included Mike Baab, Matt Bahr, Keith Baldwin, Brian Brennan, Earnest Byner, Sam Clancy, Tom Cousineau, Hanford Dixon, Paul Farren, Dan Fike, Bob Golic, Keith Hunter, Bernie Kosar, Reggie Langhorne, George Lilja, Kevin Mack, Clay Matthews, Frank Minnifield, Dave Puzzuoli, Cody Risien, Travis Tucker, Felix Wright and Glen Young.
On Sept. 20, the 1985 team was also celebrated at a dinner with more than 60 other Browns alumni gathered at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Sept. 20.
