The Browns continue to add depth to their cornerback room, as they have re-signed CB Tre Avery.

Avery was first signed to the Browns' practice squad in September 2025 and spent time on both the practice squad and active roster for Cleveland. He appeared in 10 games throughout the season and recorded 13 tackles.

Avery spent three seasons with the Titans from 2022-24, in which he made five starts in 38 career games. He recorded 78 tackles, three tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and 11 passes defensed.

Avery returns to a unit that features Denzel Ward and Tyson Campbell, as well as younger players Myles Harden, Dom Jones and D'Angelo Ross who provide depth to the position.

The Browns have re-signed CB Tre Avery, who appeared in 10 games for the Browns in 2025. Avery previously spent three seasons with the Titans from 2022-24 in which he appeared in 38 games with five starts.
