The Cleveland Browns have signed LB Edefuan Ulofoshio (pronounced ED-uh-foo-ahn YOU-loh-FOE-shee-oh) to the active roster from the practice squad and placed LB Carson Schwesinger (quad) on injured reserve. The team also elevated TE Sal Cannella from the practice squad. In addition, G Teven Jenkins cleared concussion protocol and no longer has an injury status for Sunday's game.
Schwesinger is leading the team with 146 tackles, while adding two interceptions, 2.5 sacks and 11 tackles for a loss. He is leading all NFL rookies in tackles and tackles for a loss and is tied for third in interceptions. Schwesinger recorded double-digit tackles in seven games this year, including a stretch of six consecutive games, the longest streak in the NFL this season.
Ulofoshio (6-1, 240) is in his second NFL season out of Washington. Originally selected by Buffalo in the fourth round of the 2024 draft, Ulofoshio has appeared in four career games. Ulofoshio will wear No. 54.
Cannella (6-5, 242) is officially in his first NFL season out of Auburn. Originally signed by Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2021, he has spent time with the Dolphins (2021), Packers (2022), Seahawks (2023) and Buccaneers (2024) and made his NFL debut last week. Cannella will wear No. 87.
