The Cleveland Browns have signed T Jeremiah Byers off the Cardinals' practice squad and RB Trayveon Williams off the Chargers' practice squad. In addition, the team signed DT Maurice Hurst II to the practice squad and released DT Simeon Barrow Jr. from the practice squad.

Byers (6-4, 320) is in his rookie season out of Florida State. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals and spent time on their practice squad. He will wear No. 63.

Williams (5-8, 206) is in his seventh NFL season out of Texas A&M. Originally selected by the Bengals in the sixth round of the 2019 draft, Williams appeared in 71 games with the Bengals (2019-24) and Chargers (2025). He spent part of this season on the Browns' practice squad. Williams will wear No. 38.

Hurst (6-2, 290) is in his eighth season out of Michigan. Originally a fifth-round pick by the Raiders in 2018, he has appeared in 63 games with the Raiders (2018-20), 49ers (2021) and Browns (2023-24). Hurst has totaled 116 career tackles, 10.0 sacks, 10 passes defensed, two interceptions, a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. He appeared in eight games with the Browns last season. Hurst will wear No. 97.
