Browns sign WR C.J. Board to practice squad

The Cleveland Browns signed WR C.J. Board to the practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team placed WR Kasen Williams on practice squad/injured.

Board, 6-0, 181 pounds, was originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens an undrafted free agent earlier this year, but was waived during final roster cuts. Most recently, he spent time as a member of the Tennessee Titans' practice squad. [

A Clarksville, Tenn. native, Board played collegiately at Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he appeared in 51 games (47 starts) over his four-year career. His career numbers of 2,032 receiving yards on 146 receptions rank fifth and sixth in program history, respectively.

Williams appeared in seven games with two starts for the Browns this season, totaling nine receptions for 84 yards. He was added to the team's practice squad in Week 11.
